Comparison of the output power of copper halide lasers versus buffer gas pressure and frequency
Journal Title: International Journal of Fundamental Physical Sciences - Year 2011, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
In this work, an iodide copper vapor laser (CuI) has been designed and fabricated. The effect of different operational parameters such as frequency and buffer gas pressure on output power laser have been investigated to determine the optimal condition of frequency and neon gas pressure. Based on experimental results, the maximum output power of about 0.5W is obtained at 16 kHz of frequency and 30 torr of Ne gas pressure. Moreover the experimental results of CuIlaser have been compared to the similar data for the other halide copper lasers such as CuBr and CuCl. The output power of CuI laser is less than that of others. The optimum frequency of lasers have different values, but the optimum gas pressures are the nearly same for three lasers, at the same conditions.

Theory of Relativity: The Fallacy of the Principle of Equivalence
View In the recent work, we will criticize the mental experiment that A. Einstein proposed, with the name of the principle of equivalence, to justify the validity of his theory in the case in which the reference s...
Spectral Analysis of Aeromagnetic Data over Part of the Southern Bida basin, West-Central Nigeria
Qualitative and quantitative interpretations of aeromagnetic map over part of the Southern Bida Basin, West-Central Nigeria have carried out using spectral analysis. The aeromagnetic maps digitized along flight lines of...
On the Schottky Barrier Height Lowering Effect of Ti3SiC2 in Ohmic Contacts to P-Type 4H-SiC
In this paper, an experimental investigation into titanium (Ti) / aluminium (Al)-based ohmic contacts to p-type 4H-silicon carbide (SiC) has been presented. Electrical characterisation of the fabricated contacts showed t...
The optimum geometrical ratio in halide lasers
Some halide lasers tubes with different volume were used to investigate the geometrical dependence of the output power of the laser. An optimum length-to-bore ratio of about 30 was obtained, which gives a maximum average...
Assumed Higgs Boson Discovery Proved Einstein Right
The selection-based Tempt Destiny experiment has provided evidence that the fundamental acts of selection are a dichotomy as are their effects. By applying this knowledge to evaluate the preliminary findings of the Higgs...
