Comparison of Type I Error of some Non-Parametric Tests on Multiple Regression Models Coefficients
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS - Year 2015, Vol 11, Issue 7
Abstract
Various non-parametric methods have been used to perform hypothesis test on multiple regression coefficients. In this article, at first the most important methods which has been introduced from other statisticians as proper methods, such as Kennedy, Freedman and Lane, and modified Kennedy, are explained and then, Freedman and Lane (Huh-John) method will be modified in the form of Kennedy method; finally, all aforementioned methods will be compared as simulating. At last, we look for a method that done best. So, Huh-John (2001) modify the method of Kennedy which was proposed in 1995 and showed by simulation that is called modified Huh-John method; and it has less type I error. On the other hand, Anderson as simulation (1991) and Schadrekh as theory (2011) had shown that Freedman& Lane method has lower type I error in comparison with Kennedy method. We did some modification on Freedman and Lane method that Huh-John had done on Kennedy method and compared this modified method with Freedman and Lane and Huh-John method. We conclude that Freedman and Lane modified method often has lower type I error estimation and higher power than Freedman& Lane and Huh-John method.

Max-fully cancellation modules
Let R be a commutative ring with identity and let M be a unital an R`-module. We introduce the concept of max-fully cancellation R-module , where an R-module M is called max-fully cancellation if for every nonzero maxima...
On the Navier-Stokes problem
One of the millennium problems is discussed. The results of the author’s solution to this problem are explained. The problem discussed is the Navier-Stokes problem in the whole space.
Dual strongly Rickart modules
In this paper we introduce and study the concept of dual strongly Rickart modules as a stronger than of dual Rickart modules [8] and a dual concept of strongly Rickart modules. A module M is said to be dual strongly Rick...
Dynamics of SVIS Model with Holling Type IV Functional Response
In this paper, we will study the effect of some epidemic concepts such as immigrants and vaccine on the dynamical behaviour of epidemic models. The existence, uniqueness and boundedness of the solution are investigated....
BICOMPLETABLE STANDARD FUZZY QUASI-METRIC SPACE
In this paper we introduce the definition of standard fuzzy quasi-metric space then we discuss several properties after we give an example to illustrate this notion. Then we showed the existence of a standard fuzzy quasi...
