Complete sufficient statistics for Markov chains
Journal Title: Bulletin de la Société des sciences et des lettres de Łódź, Série: Recherches sur les déformations - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
This paper presents a complete suffcient statistic for the class of Markov chains with a finite state S for some natural subspaces PZ of the set of all transition probabilities P. This statistic is the random transition count F for Markov chains with a fixed length and a fixed initial state. A summary of the recent results gives a brief exposition of completeness of F with some extra restrictions on the sets Z and S.

Classes of convex polyhedra closed under Minkowski addition / Klasy wielościanów wypukłych zamknięte ze względu na dodawanie Minkowskiego
In this paper we study classes of convex polyhedra with normal vectors belonging to a given finite set G of vectors. Since a Minkowski sum A+B of two polyhedra may have normal vectors which are normal to no face of A or...
On the differential subordination of harmonic mean to a linear function / O podporządkowaniu różniczkowym średniej harmonicznej funkcji liniowej
In this paper we examine the differential subordination related to the harmonic mean. For a dominant being a linear function we improve the general result of [?].
Simple systems and closure operators / Proste układy i operatory domykania
The connections between generalized derived-set operators and abstracted Thomson’s local systems are explored.
Application of Jacobi polynomials to approximate solution of a complete singular integral equation with Cauchy kernel on the real half-line
Jacobi polynomials are used to derive approximate solutions of the complete singular integral equation with Cauchy–type kernel defined on the real half–line in the case of constant complex coefficients. Moreover, estimat...
Separating transformation and extremal decomposition of the complex plane / Przekształcenie oddzielające i eksperymentalny rozkład płaszczyzny zespolonej
The paper is devoted to extremal problems of the geometric function theory of complex variable associated with estimates of functionals defined on systems of non-overlapping do- mains. In particular, focus of investigati...
