Composite Thermoelectric Materials Based on Lead Telluride and Cadmium Telluride
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2017, Vol 18, Issue 4
Abstract
The results of the researching of thermoelectric properties of samples, which are obtained by compressingmechanical mixtures of microdisperse powders PdTe and CdTe, are presented. It was found that the using ofcadmium for telluride as an additional component to the lead telluride contributes to a decrease in the coefficientof thermal conductivity of the materials of the studied system, which can be promising for the creation ofthermoelectric converters based on them.

Variation of Surface Characteristics and Sorption Properties of Zirconium Silicate under Irradiation by Bremsstrahlung Gamma Rays
The effect of bremsstrahlung gamma rays on the surface parameters of microporous amorphous zirconium silicate and on its ability for sorption is studied. The samples were irradiated using a betatron (electron accelerator...
Influence of Organic Molecules on the Luminescent Properties of Composites Based on CdS Quantum Dots
The influence of methylene blue (MB) and acridine yellow (AY) dyes on the spectra of luminescence of CdS with quantum dots (QD) dye composites is investigated. It is shown that the luminescence spectrum of the heterosyst...
CVD – Composites as Perspective Materials for Interference Optics of an IR Spectrum Range (Review)
The general mechanism of thermal evaporation in vacuum of chalcogenide (oxide) metal − germanium composites is established. Thermodynamic calculations define values of conditional temperatures which are essentially lower...
Structural, Magnetic and Electrical Properties of Highly Dispersed Lithium Iron Spinel Synthesized by Ion Exchange Method
Highly dispersed lithium pentaferrite β-LiFe5O8 was synthesized by ion-exchange method at temperatures up to 120оС. Magnetic structure and specific surface area changes as a function of the ion-exchange reaction duration...
