COMPUTER WORKSHOP ON MODELLING OF THE PHYSICAL PROCESS IN ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS

Abstract
The article deals with theoretical and methodological foundations for the creation of the manual devoted to modelling of physical processes in electric circuits. Different approaches to the use of information technology in solving electrical problems and creating computer models of physical processes in electric circuits. It is shown that a computer modelling in electrical workshop can be built by using mathematical and imitational simulation. The author emphasizes focus that both approaches have their advantages and disadvantages, so the learning process should be combined in order to maximize their use of the strengths of each and avoid weaknesses. Using computer simulations in teaching electrical engineering students is perfectly complementary to the traditional method. The structure of the manual devoted to the modelling of electrical circuits using modern software tools such as Mathcad and NI Multisim. It is shown an example of the assignment of laboratory work on simulation modelling environment using NI Multisim.
