Abstract
In this article I made an attempt to analyze different concepts of citizenship, because the idea of citizenship is nowadays becoming a topical issue, partly due to the geopolitical trans- formations taking place in countries, crucial social and economic reforms involving societies, particularly migration, the effect of globalization and sensitive challenges to personal identi- ty and values.
