Concept of the contract in non-classical and classical ancient philosophy

Abstract
The article is devoted to finding out genesis of the concept of the contract in ancient philosophy. Author analyses Sophists’ looks at the contract in which it appears as a manifestation of social rel- ativism. Objectivist criticism of contract by Socrates and Plato has been highlighted. The functional interpretation of treaties in the political concepts of Aristotle is shown.
