CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES TO FUTURE OFFICERS TRAINING FOR THE AUTHORIZED BODY ON PROBATION AS TO NON-CUSTODIAL MEASURES OF PUNISHMENT

Abstract
Conceptual approaches to future officers training for the authorized body on probation should be renewed in the context of changes in legislation. Priority tendencies of the penitentiary system reforming are studied in the article; professional probation service officers training in different countries and priority of such training as well as peculiarities of theoretical knowledge and practical skills forming are analyzed. The author find out that strategic trends of the officers of authorized body training concept are: – providing with qualitative education changing the programmes of study for disciplines to solve the problem of professional training, strengthen theoretical and practical training; – joining the standards of higher education with cadets and students personal development by obtaining competences that give the opportunity to be a successes in professional activities; – getting knowledge, firming skills in social work and the education of personnel that having theoretical and practical experience of work with offenders would base their activity on international standards of treatment criminals, on human values in the work with different categories of convicts, on social responsibility for their activity results; – implementation of principles, educational methods which would promote successful adaptation in professional environment into professional training system and penitentiary stuff development courses The article is an attempt to define conceptually approaches to future officers training for the authorized body on probation. At the same time issues as to coordination of activities of penal bodies personnel that fulfill the tasks of penitentiary probation should be worked out.
