CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES TO THE DEFINITION OF A DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract
In the article through the presentation of various definitions of the digital economy formulated a general idea of the digital economy. The historical aspects of the emergence of the phenomenon of the digital economy are analyzed. Systematized interpretations of the concept of digital economy and revealed in them general patterns. The main areas of coverage of the digital economy and the central issues related to this are presented. Through an analysis of the main sub-sectors of the digital economy, the actual idea of defining this issue is formulated.
