Conceptual approaches to the teaching of foreign language to non-linguistic students

Abstract

Inadequate knowledge of a foreign language by professionals of various specialties puts obstacles in their way of integration into the global professional community. This article reveals the traditional and innovative conceptual approaches used in teaching foreign language in a non-linguistic institute of higher education, their essence, advantages and disadvantages, as well as the prospects for using it.
