CONCEPTUAL DESIGN. A CASE STUDY: SAILING BOAT
Journal Title: Journal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics - Year 2015, Vol 10, Issue 2
Abstract
Any industrial product is based on a story that lays the foundation of design, development and manufacture of the product. From a conceptual point of view, two variants are defined, underlying the conceptual project, namely: innovative conceptual design - presents an original, innovative idea applied to indusatrial new products which will appear on the market; adaptive conceptual design - presents the application, adaptation and modification of existing products to identify better design solutions, while aiming the original line of the original concept. This paper proposes a case study applied to the sailing boat, as a redefinition of the concept.
