Conceptualization of the concept "Political reputation of the state"

Abstract
We analyze in retrospective the main axes of conceptualization of “political reputation” and “political reputation of the state” from a philosophical period of political thought to modern political science. The specificity of the concept of political reputation in the theories of foreign policy and international relations is investigated. The main groups of approaches to the treatment of political reputation based on its differentiation from related concepts are reviewed.
