CONSIDERATION OF TRIBOLOGY BASIS. PART 10. THE IDEAL OBJECTS IN TRIBOLOGY

Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2011, Vol 235, Issue 1

Abstract

The article presents the principles of the idealisation method and its functions in modelling of physical phenomenon. The method of idealisation in tribology was presented using the example of the interpretational models of dry friction (from Amonton’s model to Kragielski’s model). The possibilities of the method application in the tribological experiment is considered and proved.
