Conspiracy work of Jose Marti for the independence of Cuba
Journal Title: Revista Científica Estudiantil de Ciencias Médicas de Matanzas - Year 2023, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
Introduction The usual image of Marti as a writer with an intense public life does not fit with that of a conspirator, which is one of the reasons why this facet of Marti has not been widely publicized. However, a good part of Martiâs life had to pass under that condition. During the Fecund Truce period (1878-1895) a conspiracy movement was conceived both in Cuba and abroad to achieve Cuban independence, in which Marti represented the pinnacle of leadership, so this conspiratorial facet experienced great development. Objective Substantiate the conspiratorial work of Jose Marti for the independence of Cuba. Methodological design A bibliographic review was carried out, consulting as sources bibliographic reviews and original articles related to the life and work of Marti, Marti conspirator, background and events of the "Necessary War", and José Martiâs health thinking, in order to base his conspiratorial work on the preparation of the âNecessary Warâ. Conclusion For Marti, conspiring was an art, which allowed him to carry out countless actions to achieve independence. It is understood that the knowledge of Jose Martiâs art of conspiring is a paradigm in our fight against the enemies of the North. In addition, it is considered that the subject is newfangled, and brings much closer to the man who completely dispossessed himself and completely gave himself to Cuba.
