Constitutional and legal status of the President of Ukraine

Abstract
The article is devoted to the substantiation of the main provisions of the constitutional and legal status of the President of Ukraine, clarification of the role and interaction of the head of state with the legislative, executive and judicial branches of power. The functions and powers that, according to the Constitution, belong exclusively to the President of Ukraine and form the prerogative of the head of state are analyzed.
