Abstract
The article analyzes the consequences as a sign of the objective side of a crime under Art. 239 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Proved that the pollution of land belonging to the intermediate effects; derived consequences of this crime are: 1) endangering the life, health or environment (p. 1, Art. 239 of the Criminal Code); 2) loss of life, their mass illness or other grave consequences (p. 2, Art. 239 of the Criminal Code). A proper understanding of the terms «land pollution» and «deterioration of land» will promote proper training the crime.
