CONTENT STRUCTURING OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL BY STUDENTS OF THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of the process of educational information structuring for the students of technical specialties. It is stated that the process of the content structuring of educational disciplines is logical construction of the educational material and it is aimed at the study, target orientation of scientific knowledge and its adaptation to the learning environment. According to the principle of knowledge structuring, all educational material should be grouped according to its functions: informational, operational, controlling, updating, stimulating, diagnosing. Effective educational information structuring as a component of the training of students of non-language specialties should be carried out in certain pedagogical conditions. First, the student must understand the specifics of his profession. Secondly, professionally significant qualities should be formed in the future specialists. Thirdly, students must know and possess skills and abilities according to the types of educational information, its functions, didactic principles, techniques, methods, stages, structural approaches. Fourthly, they should master the skills and abilities of information structuring. Students of non-language specialties have to master educational information structuring while studying in the higher educational establishment. They must be aware of the structure and structural elements of the educational information. It is possible to realize this idea during the course of the foreign language for specific purposes. A manual or a textbook should provide the student with the necessary information and create conditions for self-control.
