Contrast of ch?shteh and kardag in Zoroastrian theology

Journal Title: International Research Journal of Applied and Basic Sciences - Year 2015, Vol 9, Issue 11

Abstract

In this paper, we focus on this fact that due to the restrictions and strictness of our ancestors' traditions, there was a necessity to follow the written document of the creeds to apply while they are impossible to implement in modern life. Therefore, the priests whose verdict was the rubric for people to solve their problem changed the old restricted verdicts in to a simpler form alone or with the consultation with other priests to be conceivable and applicable for the next generations. In fact, there seems to be a gap between ch?shteh which is the theoretical teaching and kardag which is the manner of implementation over the time.
