Abstract

The analysis of physico-chemical parameters linked to pollution of Gombe river in the region of Kinshasa showed that the river Gombe is always so polluted. Data of analysisof the turbility in the CREN-K (Centre de recherche en EnergieNucléaire/Nuclear Energy Research of Kinshasa) of University of Kinshasa, within the Department of Soils Physics and Hydrology wich indicated that Gombe river water is always troublesome, either 51,18 NTU and 44,75 NTU, especially in dry season and in rainy season in river Gombe. For the conductivity, Gomberiver is also strongly mineralized comparably the IPO. idest 440,5 µS/cm and 355 µS/cm in dry season and in rainy season in the Gombe river. The biochemical demand in oxygen (BDO5) is higher in the Gombe river, id est 40,49 mgO2/l and 34,89 mgO2/l in dry season and rainy season in Gombe river. This result is the consequence of the high level of eutrophisation in the Gomberiver. Consequently, we constatate the excessive proliferation of algae wich some are producers of toxins. Water of Gomberiver is of very poor quality and the most.
