Cooperation between Academic Institutions and Enterprises in the Region of Częstochowa

Abstract
The article discusses contemporary problems of commercialization of research results in Poland. One of the key issues is the quality of cooperation within the triangle formed by research institutions, local government and enterprises. Unfortunately, there is a noticeable lack of synergy between objectives of these entities, which are important components of the innovation system. Hence, the challenge is to find solutions for effective cooperation. The article provides an analysis of the cooperation between the science sector, businesses and institutions in the region of Czestochowa in the area of technology transfer. It presents results of a pilot study based on data collected in an online survey of companies.
