CORRELATION OF THE NUMBER OF IMAGES OF AN N-POINT GRAVITATIONAL LENS AND THE NUMBER OF SOLUTIONS OF ITS SYSTEM
Journal Title: Odessa Astronomical Publications - Year 2017, Vol 30, Issue
Abstract
In this paper, we study the correlation between the number of solutions of a system of lens equations and the number of source images that a gravitational lens has. We defined the concept of an image in a gravitational lens. To find the set of solutions of a system of lens equations, we applied methods of algebraic geometry.

HAFNIUM ABUNDANCES IN FGK DWARF OF GALACTIC DISK
In this work we present new observational data for hafnium (72). Hf is an important element that is between the lightest rare-earth elements (e.g., La, Z = 57) with elements of the third r-process peak (Os, Ir, Pt, Z =76...
STABILITY OF STELLAR SYSTEMS ORBITING SGR A*
Path equations of different orbiting objects in the presence of very strong gravitational fields are essential to examine the impact of its gravitational effect on the stability of each system. Implementing an analogous...
RESEARCHES OF LONG-TERM VARIATIONS IN URANUS AND NEPTUNE SPECTRA
The results of long-term spectral observations of Solar System giant planets Uranus and Neptune are presented here. Data were obtaining in period 2002-2012 at the peak Terskol Observatory (Northern Caucasus, Russia) usin...
LIGHT POLLUTION IN LEO-SATELLITE TRACKING
Because of the high level of the light pollution in Odessa city, only the observations of LEO (low Earth orbit)-satellites are performed in the main office of the Astronomical observatory of Odessa National University na...
THE SOLAR-RADIATION PRESSURE EFFECTS ON THE ORBITAL EVOLUTION OF ASTEROID MOONS
In the theory of motion, disturbances are divided into gravitational and non-gravitational ones. In this paper, we discuss the effects of solar-radiation pressure on the orbital evolution of asteroid moons. It is known f...
