COUNTERING IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICES IN THE LIGHT OF AJP-3.15 ALLIED JOINT DOCTRINE

Abstract

The article presents the assumptions of the AJP-3.15 Doctrine regarding the methods of countering improvised explosive devices. The authors of the article describe and discuss the risks of IED attacks and the ways to eliminate them and minimize the consequences of their use. They briefly present a proposal for a new system for countering IEDs.
