CREATION OF TOOLS AIMED AT IMPLEMENTING THE MODEL OF SPECIALISTS’ ENTREPRENEURIAL COMPETENCE FORMING

Abstract

The radical changes in the economic sphere and the formation of a new political system have actualized the problem of preparing the young generation for life under conditions of market mechanisms. Entrepreneurship is brought to the forefront as the most economically productive form of management. The adherence of the Ukrainian higher school to traditional educational models comes into conflict with the requirements of the society in the XXI century. There is no national program of young people training for entrepreneurship, which makes the problem of implementing a unified model of business education in Ukraine within the framework of vocational training a topical issue. The importance of the PBL (Project based learning)-model of education, CDIO (Conceive Design Implement Operate)-education and the method of projects for forming the entrepreneurial competence of future specialists is considered in the article. It is established that the need to form entrepreneurial competence is the subject of research for many scientists, but the question of creating tools for implementing the model enabling the forming of the entrepreneurial competence is still outside the field of researchers’ view. The problems of bachelors’ entrepreneurial competence formation in Ukraine are revealed and the expediency of using concrete tools for realizing the model of its formation is grounded. The essence of the PBL-model of education, CDIO-education and the method of projects as well as the background of their implementation into the educational process are revealed. An analysis of the experience of A. S. Makarenko regarding the organic combination of training with productive labour is carried out. The role of the initial provisions of the theory of labour education launched by A. S. Makarenko into the training of youth in the entrepreneurial activity as a socially significant activity at this stage of development of Ukrainian society was studied. The research is based on the results of the analysis demonstrating the use of such categories as «entrepreneurship» and «competence» in the literature. Entrepreneurial competence is interpreted as a person’s ability to correlate his / her own economic interests with the available material, labour and natural resources alongside with the interests of other people and society; to be ready to act actively, organizing his (her) own labour activity and the work of the collective (team); timely to adapt to the new needs of the labour market; to make economically sound decisions; to provide information on the results. In the process of author`s research, it is justified use the out-of-class forms of organizing quasi-professional and quasi-entrepreneurial student`s activities as tools of implementing the model of future specialists entrepreneurial competence forming. Based on the obtained data, the author makes this conclusion: a solution to the problem can be found by the development and implementation of the National Concept of Youth Training in Entrepreneurship. It will make it possible to streamline the use of tools of entrepreneurial competence forming, and will give it a methodological justification.
