Abstract
Our study has for objective to put in link the road criminality with the human will of the drivers of the two-wheeledmachines. The study joins in the theoretical railing of the Criminology of the act and the Maurice Cusson's rational choice. According to this theory, the criminal act is a reality individualisable in the life of his author. It is also a voluntary act, and as any human action, it should in principle, to proceed of choice, to pursue a purpose, to be an attempt of adaptation or of solution to a problem.We used as instruments of data collection: the document retrieval, the questionnaires, the guide of interview and the direct observation. The quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis as well as of analysis of the contents were used. The results (profits) indicate that the two-wheeled heavy plant drivers are strongly involved in the demonstrations (appearances) of the road criminality: flights (thefts), attacks, accidents. The main human factors come essentially in two points that arethe lure of gain and the bad faith of the various actors. It is thus about rational choice on behalf of the drivers to maximize their earnings (gains) and adapt itself to the socioeconomic contingencies in which they are confronted
