Cross-Cultural Dominant of the Personality in Humanistic Education by the Means of Music

Abstract

In modern pedagogy, education is interpreted as an activity, value, system of influences, interaction, and sensuality. Humanistic education is regarded in the study as a basic process of entering the child in the socium, which requires its complete preparation in society life through comprehensive development of the ability to implement their free capacities and abilities with further self-development. Humanistic paradigm of education involves personal approach attitude to personality as a unique phenomenon regardless of their individual characteristics. The material of study is based on the humanistic ideas of native teachers of the XX – early XXI century. It is proved that the foundation of progressive ideas are historically-conceptual and procedurally-methodological invariants, which included periods, especially the major determinants, substantial dominant, regulative and the following methods of ideas: of positive example, of value-semantic guidelines, creating the training situations, orientation on the perspective, self-concept. According to the study was determined that the author's logical structural model based on methodological, historical, theoretical and methodological principles of humanistic education means music is a logical structure related dominants (culturally-appropriated, axiological, active, emotionally-stimulated, cross-cultural, pedagogically-guiding); constant determinants (laws, principles, regularities, regulations) and regulative of qualitative state (system, procedural, activity). The paper concluded that the humanist education today can be done effectively on condition historical and educational, historical and cultural dimensions of this problem, the ability of the individual to think historically and direction of the main goals of the educational process by means of music into the mainstream of the formation of human culture.
