CRYSTALLIZATION OF KONCEPTS OF DARA KORNIY’S METAPROSE IN THE NOVEL «THE CONSTELLATION OF VIRGINS»

Abstract
One of the most productive artistic phenomena in the modern Ukrainian literature is the author myth of the Dara Korniy’s metaprose. In our article the last novel by Dara Korniy «The Constellation of Virgins» is complex analysed for the first time. This book synthesizes the most author’ artistic models and plot decisions, it is a Rubicon after which our writer declares the search of new ways in literature. For the first time the method of crystallization of koncepts of Dara Korniy metaprose is consistently studied in «The Constellation of Virgins». For this purpose accordance of artistic parameters of this work as a link of author’s metanovel is certain, and also a form of expression in «The Constellation of Virgins» of semantics of the base concepts of Dara Korniy prose is researched. The special attention is spared to the concept of wings, and also the method of symbolizing of a woman and a man appearances in the light of gender accents is certain. «The Constellation of Virgins» marked the important phase of evolution of the macromyth in the authoress’ prose of about modern, creative and strong Ukrainian, her balancing on verge of reality and unreality, and search of herself. Structurally this novel is typical for «large» prose of authoress, in the genre sense it is also written into the paradigm of her fantasy. Coming from the requirements of genre and mythopoetic canons, of, the text of «The Constellation of Virgins» finds out expressive binary oppositionness. We can establish a presence the base signs of the metaprose by Dara Korniy in the analysable novel. In the text by M. Zamoyska a symbol playes an important role. The image-character of wings, the base concept of the artistic world of authoress, gets in the novel «The Constellation of Virgins» the most powerful impulse, and in the figure of heroine it underlines the active beginning. An inalienable constituent here is a motif of flight. For men images not incident the parallels with the winged creations, after separate exceptions. In this novel the bird concept is connected with significant appearance of a star, and their equivalentness arrives at artistic completion here first. In «The Constellation of Virgins» the wings motif related to the line of angels, the special attention is spared to the color of angels’ wings. Next to angels images, the figures from the world of «lower mythology», vampires, get a reverse transformation in this novel by Dara Korniy. Positions of our article have a prospect of development in the format of the more scale works on questions of becoming of the Ukrainian literature in XXI century.
