Cube Root Of A Positive Integer Using LDM

Journal Title: International Journal of Innovative Research & Growth - Year 2018, Vol 6, Issue 5

Abstract

Abstract In numerical methods, there are several algorithms to find the square root and cube root of a positive integer. Among all algorithms, one very simple algorithm is ‘division algorithm’ to find square root of positive integer. In this paper I introduce a modified algorithm of division algorithm to compute the cube root of any positive number. By using this algorithm, we can find the cube root of 5, 10 or up to n-digit number. Some experimental results have been discussed in this paper.
