Cudzoziemiec jako osoba uprawniona do uzyskania zaświadczenia o stanie cywilnym

Abstract
Marital status certifi cate which is adressed in art. 44 and art. 49 of the Act of the 28 November 2014 – Registry Office Records Act can be issued each person, who is covered by the polish Maritain status registration system, regardless the citizenship. The only subjective restriction relates to the proper age (17 years) and mental state of the person who applies for a certificate. Being awale to different cases, when there is a concern of issuing the certificate, which is inconsistent with the reality, one should use all legalny forseen mechanisms, so that the information contained in the national register are possibly up-to-day, including the scope of events influencing the marital status, which take place abroad. The risk of issuing „invalid” marital status certificates is here not restricted only to citizens of foreign states, and therefore can not predestine the general refusal of drawing up the analised document upon request of the foreigner.
