CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL MEMORY AS A METHOD OF REPRODUCTION OF HUMAN NATURE

Abstract
Background. The entire history of the human race can be seen as the creative process keeping the memory of their own destination. In human development the past is not forgotten but is stored in the present, and via such a presence in modern times it is the co-creator of the future. Thanks to the memory humanity exists through the centuries. However, like any phenomenon of human life, the memory of the real social conditions can take distorted forms of existence. In such case review of the relevance of the phenomenon of memory in the context of the transformation of the human postition in the world is topical. The aim of the article is to study the cultural and historical memory as a tool for reproduction of universal, generic nature of man and its distorted forms, causing "privatization" of historical heritage. Materials and methods. To study the phenomenon of cultural and historical memory a wide range of general and special methods of the humanities was used. Results. Dialectic of social and individual phenomenon in the cultural and historical memory has been outlined. Nature of the cultural and historical memory has been considered as a tool of reproduction of universal, generic nature of man and its distorted forms, causing "privatization" of historical heritage. The study of contemporary discourse of memory allows to conclude its ideologization. Conclusion. Without the ability to recall the cultural or say, beyond ability to contemplate the idea of events, things and processes, we are doomed to be confined to specific moments of the motley variety of facts.
