Abstract
In the article the philosophy of culture research, E. Cassirer as presented in his work «Philosophy of symbolic forms.» The expediency of such research methodological strategy in the study of culture, which would make it possible to avoid both the empirical pluralism and logocentrism. E. Cassirer proposed project just made it possible to avoid this kind of methodological extremes. Philosophy of culture according Cassirer should take into account both the diversity of culture, preserving every cultural sphere in it’s autonomy and defend the unity of culture, which is based on a priori ability of human subjectivity. Modern philosophy of objective spirit as philosophy of culture to develop, largely outlined by E. Cassirer
