CURRENCY INSTABILITY IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article analyzes the problem of currency instability in Ukraine. It is proposed to allocate three main groups of factors that influence the exchange rate change: social, political, financial, economic and force majeure. Social and political, financial and economic and force majeure factors influencing on determination of the national currency are studied. SWOT-analysis of transition to a free floating exchange rate is performed. The scientific approaches to the optimal exchange rate regime in Ukraine are generalized and systematized. It is proved that for the stability of the national currency it is necessary to take into account all the above factors, which can affect both positively and negatively on the exchange rate.
