Current Concept on Dengue: A Review

Abstract

Dengue is a self-limited, systemic viral infection which is transmitted between humans by mosquitoes. The rapidly expanding global footprint of dengue is not only a public health challenge but also an economic burden. This review highlights the current understanding of dengue, including its pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, investigations that are used to diagnosis, management and prevention..
