CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF OPTICAL MARKET IN UKRAINE

Abstract
This article overviews the features of functioning of the modern optical market in Ukraine. Problems, trends and development perspectives of current market are identified. The definition of pharmaceutical activity, which includes the optical market, is given. Classification of eye glasses by purpose and properties is presented. The leader among optical manufacturers in the world is defined. The main exporting countries and dynamics of imported products on the territory of Ukraine are considered. Dynamics of exports of eye glasses of Ukrainian manufacturers was analyzed. A number of factors impeding the development of the optical market was detected. Methodical recommendations on optimization of the situation in the optical market of Ukraine are given.
