Current state of the reserved steppe site of Yunitsky Botanical Wildlife area

Abstract

Results of researches of dynamics, structure and composition of a protected steppe biocenosis of the Yunitsky botanical wildlife area are given. Plant community distinct from initial phytocenosis has formed there. Reasons of the gradual overgrowing of steppe area an arboreal and shrub vegetation are analyzed. Overgrowing of reserved steppe site goes on mainly for account of vegetative and seed of elm. The methods for controlling of undesirable vegetation are offered.
