Curve Digitizer – A software for multiple curves digitizing
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2010, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
The Curve Digitizer is software that extracts data from an image file representing a graphic and returns them as pairs of numbers which can then be used for further analysis and applications. Numbers can be read on a computer screen stored in files or copied on paper. The final result is a data set that can be used with other tools such as MSEXCEL. Curve Digitizer provides a useful tool for any researcher or engineer interested in quantifying the data displayed graphically. The image file can be obtained by scanning a document.

Drag coefficient modelling in the context of small launcher optimisation
The purpose of this paper is to present a fast mathematical model that can be used to quickly asses the drag coefficient for generic launcher configurations. The tool developed based on this mathematical model can be use...
Survey Evaluation of the Indoor Environment Quality in a Large Romanian Hospital
The medical units represent a challenge for the building services engineers who are often put in difficulty to ensure the indoor optimal conditions. The destination variety of the indoor environment in such buildings and...
Stress analysis of toroidal shell
Stress analysis for a toroidal shell used for a flying platform. We will be comparing the results obtained by classical approach and by numerical method (finite element analysis).
Analytical solutions of the simplified Mathieu’s equation
Consider a second order differential linear periodic equation. The periodic coefficient is an approximation of the Mathieu’s coefficient. This equation is recast as a first-order homogeneous system. For this system we ob...
Investigation on Characterizing Heated Pulsating Flows with Hot Wire Anemometers - A Hands-On Approach
The pulsating heated flows are traditionally a difficult subject to treat with conventional hot wire or film methods. Special factors that complicate matters are flow reversal and non linear flow effects of vortices and...
