Journal Title: IJSR-International Journal Of Scientific Research - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 2
Abstract
Fine needle aspiration cytology is an accepted cost-effective simple method for screening the thyroid lesions. But to categorically state whether the diagnosis is benign or malignant is difficult, hence the 'indeterminate' or suspicious' categories were introduced. e purpose of study is to assess the diagnostic accuracy of cytodiagnosis and the percentage of cytohistological correlation of various thyroid lesions.
