Decrease in nitrogen oxide emissions from the combustion of the prepared gas mixture in the swirl burner

Abstract

The results of numerical studies prepared by the combustion of the gas mixture (α'v=0.75) in the vortex burner. The results of computer simulation of three-dimensional low-emission gas burning scheme taking into account the influence of the design parameters of the burners and technological activities. In the calculations made burner design parameters: the register vanes installation angle in the flow of primary air φ1 = 45 ° at α'v = 0.75 and installation angle of the blades in the flow of secondary air φ2 = 60 °, the overall excess air factor is αv = 1.10. Simulation results show that in the methane combustion may reduce the emissions of nitrogen oxides to thermal 25-30 mg/m3 values. Performed numerical study of heat exchange and air dynamics of water-tube steam boilers shows possibility of estimation of operation efficiency of burners
