Deformational regimes and kinematic conditions of modern tectonic faulting within the limits of the Mountain Crimea. 2
Journal Title: Геофизический журнал - Year 2015, Vol 37, Issue 1
Abstract
Description and analysis of stereographic models of deformational regimes of tectonic faulting and corresponding kinematic conditions given in part 1 [Wolfman, 2014] have been continued. Models and examples of manifestations of fault, uplift and uplift-fault deformational regimes have been given. Naturally determined order of strain field orientations has been substantiated, which specified the processes of tectonic faulting in the Mountain Crimea area, inversion mode of kinematic conditions manifestation, special features of transformation of structure forming strain fields and accordingly deformational regimes as well as the role of tectonic faults of those or other structural-kinematic types (including blanket-thrust faults) in the structure of the region. Necessity has been shown to introduce some corrections to problems definition, methodology and interpretation of results of tectonic studies being conducted.

Mantle origin of methane in the Black Sea
A new distribution map of gas seeps and mud volcanoes has been compiled of the Black Sea. It has been derived from the published coordinates for ca. 5000 gas seeps and 80 mud volcanoes. An analysis of the stable isotopic...
Determination of areas of gas methane accumulation in carbon-mass massives by transient electromagnetic sounding method (on the example of the San Juan coal basin; USA)
According to the results of the research with the method of point electromagnetic sounding (PEMS) of the area of the coal basin of San Juan the criteria were obtained for the allocation of plane anomalies; promising for...
Prediction of pathways and places of accumulation for hydrocarbons of the Chernigiv segment of the Dnieper-Donets aulacogene in relation to magnetic heterogeneity
A complex analysis of the magnetic inhomogeneity of the entire crustal section is performed in conjunction with the available geological and geophysical data on the prediction of migration paths of deep hydrocarbons and...
Abnormal geophysical and seismotectonic processes observed during the period of preparation and development of the earthquake with a magnetude of 8,8 Maule 2010 (Chile)
Focal zone, basic shock, jerking of strongest aftershocks and progress of seismic energy release during the aftershock process of the earthquake Maule 27.02.2010 (M W =8,8) in Chile have been analyzed. Macroseismic manif...
Characteristics of the gravity field of predictive oil-gas areas in the DDD region according to satellite model EGM08 and gravity measurements at the beginning of the XX century
Gravimetric information is the basis for mineral exploration. The foundations of resource research in Ukraine were started by a large-scale gravimetric survey performed by the Poltava Gravimetric Observatory (PGO) in 192...
