Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the issue of legal regulation of the calculation of the initial moment of limitation. It has been established that the statute of limitations for filing a claim is directly related to the fact that the person has a substantive right to claim. The doctrinal and legislative approaches to the accounting of objective and subjective factors causing the beginning of the limitation of actions are analyzed. Concrete proposals were made, in particular, regarding the need for rationing the mutual influences of the limitation and acquisition terms.
