DEICTIC MEANS OF EXPRESSING ETHNIC PREJUDICES IN THE ENGLISH DISCOURSE OF BRITISH AND AMERICAN POLITICIANS

Abstract
The article is devoted to the investigation of deictic means of expressing ethnic prejudices in the discourse of British and American politicians. Personal, possessive and demonstrative pronouns are not only units of nomination of foreigners, but also means of their alienation, distancing and opposing to the representatives of native nations. Acquiring negative meaning these units become means of expressing ethnic prejudices in the English political discourse.
