DEPENDENCE OF BREAKAGE FACE METHANE- BEARING CAPACITY ON COAL MINING NONUNIFORMITY

Abstract

Research aimed at identifying the effect of diurnal dynamics of coal mining on the uneven methane release that is relevant for the intensi cation of sewage treatment works at high gas-bearing formations. The analysis of value change of hourly mean methane-bearing capacity and production taking into account the mining organization in the mining face. It was found that the cyclical dynamics of the average hourly production over the entire period of observations is almost identical to the change in hourly average methane abundance during the day. It is shown that the increase of methane bearing capacity irregularity of a mining face is caused by production increase both in last and present time period. Namely, the occurrence of extremely high emissions of methane is most likely in the last mining shift, when, as a rule, the load on the mechanized complex reaches the highest values for the current day. The current value of the methane release has an impact not only load at the moment, but past events: mining for past shifts, downtime puri cation equipment. In this regard, the construction of mathematical models for describing the dynamics of methane release from a quantitative assessment of the in uence of technological (management) factors, appropriate use of methods of the theory of time series.
