Design and Impact Analysis of a Car Door
Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 9
Abstract
Car door is one of the main parts which are used as protection for passengers from side collisions. Presently steel is used for car doors construction. The aim of the project is to analyze the car door with presently used material steel and replacing with composite materials like Aluminum, Carbon Epoxy, S-glass epoxy, E-Glass epoxy. Impact analysis is conducted on door for different speeds by varying the materials. Best of the result we will consider for the door design. Also we are going to reduce weight of the door by using composite materials replacing with steel. By this we have to reduce the damage percentage of the car and passenger protection. In this project, the Car door is modeled using parametric modeling software Pro/Engineer. Pro/ENGINEER is the standard in 3D product design, featuring industry-leading productivity tools that promote best practices in design. We have to variety the materials of the car door and speed to impacting of door

MIMO System Performance Evaluation for High Data Rate Wireless Networks using Space Time Block Codes with Orthogonal Structure
Space–time block coding is used for data communication in fading channels by multiple transmit antennas. Message data is encoded by applying a space–time block code and after the encoding the data is break into ‘...
Enhanced Energy Aware Geographic Routing Protocol in MANET: A Review
Abstract: Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) are characterized by multi-hop wireless links and resource constrained nodes. One of the major challenges in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) is link failures due to mobility...
Ground water nitrate removal by using ‘Chitosan’ as an adsorbent
ABSTRACT: Environmental pollution is the most terrible ecological crisis to which we are subjected today. Today the environment has become foul, contaminated, undesirable, and therefore harmful for the health of li...
Tannin gel derived from Leaves of Ricinus Communis as an adsorbent for the Removal of Cu (II) and Ni (II) ions from aqueous solution
The biosorption of Cu (II) and Ni (II) ions from aqueous solutions by Tannin gel derived from Leaves of Ricinus Communis was investigated as a function of pHZPC, Initial pH, adsorbent dose, contact time and m...
Non linear analysis of Robot Gun Support Structure using Equivalent Dynamic Approach
Robot guns are being increasingly employed in automotive manufacturing to replace risky jobs and also to increase productivity. Using a single robot for a single operation proves to be expensive. Hence for cost...
