Design and Simulation of an Efficient LED Driver for Street Light Application
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
This paper presents the multistage high brightness (HB) LED driver for the application of street lighting. This paper focus on the reliability because the LED’s may last for greater than 50,000 hours but the drivers may not; hence the driver design has to be such that they outdo the life of LED’s .The existing two stage HB LED driver is modified here as three stage (multistage) to improve its reliability as well as the performance. The three stages are PFC boost converter, asymmetric half bridge converter and a current controlled buck converter. Each stage performs separate tasks to improve the efficiency of the driver circuit. The simulation of three stage HB-LED driver was done and it is presented in this paper using MATLAB software.

Computational Techniques To Recover Missing Data From Gene Expression Data
Microarray gene expression data generally suffers from missing value problem due to a variety of experimental reasons. Since the missing data points can adversely affect downstream analysis, many algorithms have been pr...
Comparison Of Various 32-Bit Parallel Prefix Adders
In Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) designs, Parallel prefix adders (PPA) have the higher delay performance. This paper investigates four varieties of PPA’s (Kogge Stone Adder (KSA), Spanning Tree Adder (STA), Brent...
Elimination of Leakage Current in PV Based Current Source Inverter
This paper deals with the implementation of four leg inverter to eliminate the earth leakage current. In the PV based system, some amount of leakage current induces on the inverter output terminals due to high switching...
Bubble Deck
This paper proposes an approach for creating biaxial slabs using bubble deck. This approach avoids the limitations in hollow core slabs, lack of structural integrity, inflexibility and lack of architectural possibilitie...
