DESIGN OF A UNIVERSAL LIFTING EQUIPMENT AND ITS ADAPTABILITY
Journal Title: Journal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics - Year 2014, Vol 9, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper presents the design of a lifting equipment following the 7 principles of Universal Design. The 7 principles of Universal Design guide engineers, designers and constructors to create products that can satisfy a vast range of users necessities. The equipment presented in this paper proves its universality by its ability to adapt to different work conditions. The adaptability of the equipment is revealed by the three versions of it, created with the specialized software Solid Edge.
