Design of Direct-Coupled Microstrip BandPass Filter
Journal Title: Journal of Science and today’s world - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 8
Abstract
In this paper, the new method of designing and producing high-frequency direct-coupling micro-strip band-pass filter is presented. The equivalent circuit of one unit of filter acts like synchronously symmetric resonators, and connects to input and output network, and behaves as a high-order band-pass filter. A complete design of fourth-order Chebyshev band-pass filter is presented with mid-band frequency of 1.8 GHz and bandwidth of 20%, and it is shown that the symmetric dual-mode resonance filters perform well in designing Cross-Couple filters with finite zeros. After simulation, the measured pass loss value equals 0.028dB, the pass bandwidth equals 20.52% and the filter size equals 62*27mm.
