Design of public safety network and emergency alarm for smart trade centre
Journal Title: EAI Endorsed Transactions on Industrial Networks and Intelligent Systems - Year 2018, Vol 5, Issue 15
Abstract
In the trade centre, there are always unannounced emergencies that need to be addressed to maintain order. Therefore, a smart system is required to detect threats and deal with them. In this paper, we propose a secure network system that is structured into three layers including Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) devices, self-acting robots, and sensor networks. The system operates in two directions: 1) The sensor network tracks the environment and provides raw data to the robots, from here will be transmitted directly to the storage and processing centre or the nearest UAV devices and 2) the administrator or operation centre gives operational instructions to the UAV devices. Based on the analysis of the environmental data on the cloud server, the proposed system can automatically generate warnings and actions in time.

Flexible Fixtures for CNC Machining Centers in Multiproduct Manufacturing
In modern manufacturing engineering, a major challenge is the contradiction between the need to reduce the time required to design and manufacture the products and the increasing complexity of product design. Today's mar...
Comparative Study on Power Gating Techniques for Lower Power Delay Product, Smaller Power Loss, Faster Wakeup Time
The power gating is one of the most popular reduction leakage techniques. We make comparison among various power gating schemes in terms of power delay product, energy loss, and wake-up time using the 45-nm Predictive Te...
Using Finite Forkable DEVS for Decision-Making Based on Time Measured with Uncertainty
The time-line in Discrete Event Simulation (DES) is a sequence of events defined in a numerable subset of R+. When it comes from an experimental measurement, the timing of these events has a limited precision. This preci...
Cooperative Spectrum-Sharing with Two-Way AF Relaying in the Presence of Direct Communications
In this paper, we investigate a three-phase two-way (TW) amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying for cognitive radio networks. By utilizing the direct communications, the end user can employ diversity combining techniques, i.e...
Hybrid Simulation Using SAHISim Framework
Hybrid systems such as Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) are becoming more important with time. Apart from CPS there are many hybrid systems in nature. To perform a simulation based analysis of a hybrid system, a simulation f...
