Details of roman bronze lantern from a sanctuary Gurzufskoe Sedlo

Abstract
During the archaeological excavations of a sanctuary near the pass Gurzufskoe Sedlo at Mountain Crimea at 1981-1993 in the cultural layer of the site the details of Roman bronze lamp were found. According to the analogies (at the first place, of a Roman military camp Haltern) and data of strategraphy, a lantern is of a type 1A and dates back to the time of Augustus reign. The finds of parts of lanterns at the territories of the Roman military camps and Lower Germanic and Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes of the early Principate, a details of lantern can be attributed to the group of items of the Roman military equipment from the excavations the sanctuary near the pass Gurzufskoe Sedlo dating back to the era of Augustus.
