Developing of an automated information management system for light industry enterprises on an example of garment production

Abstract

The article describes the automated information management system of the light industry enterprise, which deals with sewing of goods. It analyzed the demand for manufacturing of Ukrainian production and competitiveness of such production in markets. The developed system is used with the aim to improve the production and business firm effectiveness by processing and saving routine information and automating tasks that perform enterprises. A goal tree was built through a systematic approach, which is fundamental to the development of automated data systems. The paper specifies main task, its goals, aspects and criteria (qualitative and quantitative) for defining characteristic and assesses the objective and identifies aspects of efficiency to deal with it. The data flow diagram has been used for graphical representation flowing and processing information. Eva-Textile-Ukraine Garment Company was chosen for visual representation of this system and creation of a website. Also, the article depicts the information system architecture and parameters of a web-site work. The system allows changing, complementing and viewing information about the work of an enterprise and also limiting the access.
