DEVELOPMENT IN FRUIT PRODUCTION IN POLAND AND THE PRODUCER PRICES FOR FRUIT FOR PROCESSING

Abstract
The aim of the study was to identify changes in the area of fruit production in Poland and indicating the development of fruit production. As a result of the analysis, it was found that both the growth of the area of cultivation of fruit, as well as an increase in the participation of the surface of the fruit in the agricultural area, while agricultural area where descending, points to the development of fruit production in the provinces: Lower Silesia, Lublin, Lubusz, Łódź, Masovian, Holly Cross, Warmian-Masurian and West Pomeranian. The development of fruit production in these provinces there has been through increasing the area of growing Apple trees and Raspberry. The most increased the prices of those species whose cultivation area decreased (with the exception of the raspberries).<br/><br/>
