DEVELOPMENT OF AUSTRIAN BANKING SYSTEM IN THE CONDITIONS OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract
The article investigates Austrian modern banking sector, which is one of the most developed in the European Union. The features of the modern institutional and functional structure of the banking sector of the country, the strategies of functioning of banking institutions in modern conditions are revealed. The analysis of the credit institutions stability in 2005– 2016 was carried out. The article also uncovers the risks of Austrian banking system in the post-crisis period and in modern conditions as well.
